Windows 10 Mail app deleted all my e-mail accounts

Running Windows 10 with all current updates applied.

This is the second time this has happened to me. Today I opened the windows mail app and none of my e-mail accounts are listed. I have not installed any new software and I know that I did not delete the accounts from the mail app.

Would like to know if this has happened to anyone else and or how to recover my accounts with out having to add them back in manually.

Any and all help is appreciated.

This is why you shouldn`t use a windows mail account.

What exactly do you mean by email accounts ?

The Windows Mail App (The e-mail client that comes with Windows 10) is where I had all my e-mail accounts setup so I just had one place to check them. All of the e-mail accounts that I had added to the client are now gone. When I open the app instead of seeing a list of my e-mail accounts I see the app as it was when I first started to use it.

My e-mail accounts should be listed in the left hand column under Accounts.

I have had this happen once, after one of the many Mail App updates. I just added them all back again.

The last update a day or two ago, all contacts disappeared in the linked People App. You have to go to Settings and add the accounts back in.

Such fun with these rubbishy MS Apps.

Thanks I guess I will just bite the bullet and just add my e-mail accounts back into the client.
