I agree.. it's just.. well. Bland. I hope with time MS adds some flair to it and fixes the bugs. In 10056 it works better but it's still far from perfect. But, keeping in mind how young it is I guess it's to be expected. But, on the other hand you would think MS could get a team together to create a great browser.

Ah come on Jeff give MS a chance, they're building a browser now from the ground up(with Edge being a fork from Trident) but they have to adjust their API's(an API can facilitate integration of new features into existing applications (a so-called "plug-in API"). An API can also assist otherwise distinct applications with sharing data, which can help to integrate and enhance the functionalities of the applications.).
It's like building a house, first comes the foundation, then the framework, then walls, plumbing, cabling, and lastly it's painted.... It takes time. I don't need pretty, I just want SPEED!

I think they're doing a good job so far and yes .. it takes time to make a great browser. But at this point I would have thought this project would have been going on for some time and it would be more polished by now.

But I'll play with it more when the RTM comes out. Until then I'll stick with Cyberfox or Chrome.

It could be castrated on purpose. I get that feeling from build to build, because in one something work and in the next not. Maybe they do that to protect against black market bootleg copies later, you know, that a "complete working OS" is out there before RTM & GA.
The information they need they get each time you visit a site or in somehow interact on the internet with Spartan from those bean counter programs that tell market shares.

I shrunk a Spartan/YouTube window down to a 'pop-out' player size, actually as small as I could make it, and now Spartan won't open... at all!

I will continue to use Cyberfox. Spartan seems better than IE but not that great for mr to change.
