Oh, I knew that; I've been reading this thread. :) But it was such a disaster when I first tried it, I thought it'd be good to try it again with this clean install. I think it may be faster than IE, which has developed its own set of nasties.

Off topic, but the clean install cleared up quite a few ills with Build 10061. :)
No question it's much better and heading in the right direction. And yes, a clean instillation always makes things better.

Well, I'm finding all kinds of errors posting with Spartan!

    1. When I bold and italicize a word or two, it works; however, when I again do Ctrl B I to end bold and italicize, I get a big flash and what I've typed is gone!

    2. I read what I've typed to be sure there are no speeling and gramer errors. Oops! So I highlight speeling and gramer in order to correct them by typing over what I've highlighted. No dice! Type Over does not work! I have to delete the word before I can correct it!

    3. Finally, when I highlight a word I've already typed in order to bold it, everything just freezes up. I'm not going to try that in this post, but will try it in the next one to see if what happened was a fluke.

Well, #3 is a fluke, but #1 is definitely not! I just tried bold/unbold and got the flash!

    Candidate for Evernote

    Wynona said:
I do it the old fashioned way because I usually want to save and maybe print later when I get time to read it.

I highlight all the data I want to print, Ctrl C (copy), open Word, Ctrl V (paste) and then print it or save it.
I think you are a prime candidate for Evernote, the free version does the job for me but you can rathole *.google if you wanna pay for extra space
I use to save a whole web page to get checklists, tutors and such but Evernote allows saving selections or the whole page to an organized file where I can find it

    Clean YouTube Player

Try the new 'clean' YouTube player; supported on Chromium based browsers for now.

Which are the Chromium browsers, Edwin? I'll guess that Chrome's one of them?

Yes, and Maxthon Nitro which I posted from, Firefox and Spartan aren't supported; any others I'm not sure.

Thanks! Off to check it out, since Chrome wouldn't play Youtube videos yesterday.

I have gone back to ie11 due to scroll bar hiding, is there a way of locking Spartan scroll bar visible

    Some observations:

    - the scroll bar track is translucent, and
    - if you idle your cursor, wait for the scroll bar to disappear, then scroll again without moving your cursor, the scroll bar becomes thin and trackless.
    - moving your cursor over a video, (YouTube for starters), it stutters like crazy unless you turn off the Flash Player in settings and go HTML
    - media will NOT keep playing with Spartan minimized to the taskbar.
    - YouTube videos don't actually go full screen.

    Not sure at this point.
I figure it's supposed to disappear because it's a floating UI element, it covers the web page, it doesn't reside beside it.

I will never use it. I can't even get it to stay open.
