Yeah, it's impressive. Here's the weird thing though:
Nitro seems to piggy back the Spartan application, or at least the rendering engine cuz a Nitro embossed 'about:flags' link resides inside the Spartan folder with the same options but none selected.

I'm on my 8.1 machine right now, and I noticed that Nitro doesn't really have any options security or otherwise. But when I go to sights like Major Geeks, It's like my IE settings(click to play for Flash Player for example) where they have those green double underlined(not from an adware extention or program flash related) are not showing up. Like you said piggy back.

    Hi Edwin,
I also just installed the maxthon nitro browser, so far so good..as with all new browser's, once I get it customized the way I prefer a browser to look like..I actually think I might like it. So far I can't figure out how to make the status bar go away.

Update: I guess I clicked the wrong install link, I actually installed version # 4.4.5.1000, which ISN'T the 'nitro' version. For the record..I didn't like that version at all, the latest firefox beta that I'm running is at least to me MUCH better. :)

Hmmm, I have no status bar, could be an Explorer thing.

Again, not tryin to diss Spartan here, but here's a couple nice features in Nitro:

    - copy anything then right click on 'new tab' + and it pastes and goes immediately,

    - drag any link a couple of inches and it opens in a new tab.

That's slick. I could get used to grabbing a link and opening it in new tab

Sorry, bit of a correction on the first one:
    - highlight and drag anything a little and it will search in a new tab!

I have just clean installed Windows 10 Build 10061 and am now using Spartan to view these forums.

    We'll see how it goes.

Oh, I knew that; I've been reading this thread. :) But it was such a disaster when I first tried it, I thought it'd be good to try it again with this clean install. I think it may be faster than IE, which has developed its own set of nasties.

Off topic, but the clean install cleared up quite a few ills with Build 10061. :)
