    Can't remember, but I was signed in with an MS Account so it was a no brainer; just through me for a loop is all!

    =Mystere;

    I don't say what I say because i'm concerned about MS's feelings, I say what I say because I am concerned WE will lose this precious opportunity to be part of the design of the OS, all because a few people can't comprehend the concept of "in development", or cannot resist the urge to jump to conclusions and broadcast them to everyone that will listen.
    I understand that Mystere, they went through that with W8. That is human nature and will happen.

    Absolutely, Dude!

    Microsoft has done a complete turnaround twice in recent years; first when they pretty much "fired" all the beta testers at large when Windows 8 was being built. Now they've seen the results of that error in judgment and have gone exactly opposite, opening up the Windows 10 Technical Preview to just about everyone on the planet.

    Further, Microsoft has invited us, as Insiders (those who registered to test), to give them feedback on the new operating system and its many facets. As far as I know, we haven't been limited in the feedback we give, nor have we been given a listing of this, that or the other that's off limits because MS isn't finished with it yet. There are missing drivers all over the place. Was I not supposed to give feedback about the missing drivers for the sound card in my brand new HP Pavilion laptop? Was I not supposed to tell MS about my workaround?

    I look at this TP as what it is; an unfinished product that Microsoft has thrown to us wolves, saying in essence, "We want you to tell us what we're doing right and we want to know what you think is wrong. Where can we improve? What did we do wrong with this feature? Here's a half-baked browser . . . tell us what you want to see. Never mind that it's half finished; what features are most important to you? Which features irritate you the most?"

    First and foremost, in my not so humble opinion, is the fact that I believe Microsoft has given us an unfinished product to work with early in its life so that the changes and/or features we want can be included. That's not to say everything we want will be included. Microsoft isn't going to change the way it does business just because someone gives feedback that's hard to digest. In fact, I would hazard a guess that the denizens here in TenForums are a mere drop in the bucket compared with the overall scheme of Windows 10. I would also hazard a guess that "known issues" have been pointed out to Microsoft a huge number of times.

    Feedback is important! Microsoft isn't going to withdraw our Technical Preview privileges just because of feedback! Maybe for other reasons, but not because of feedback!

    Not an invitation per se, but the "invitation" was thrown out there into the wild. I heard about it from a fellow beta tester and also on ZDNet, PCWorld, etc. and followed the link. All I had to do from that point was to give my information and download the bits and, voila!, I was an Insider. :)

    Not only does YouTube stop playing in Spartan when minimized to the taskbar, it also stops playing if you switch to another virtual desktop while still up and running.

    Spartan really isn't doing it for me. I know what MS were aiming for but it feels like a new house you just moved into and couldn't be bothered to decorate or furnish.

    Because you're gonna put it back on the market ASAP? :) Kinda the way I felt about it too, since I couldn't get anything to work.

    I agree.. it's just.. well. Bland. I hope with time MS adds some flair to it and fixes the bugs. In 10056 it works better but it's still far from perfect. But, keeping in mind how young it is I guess it's to be expected. But, on the other hand you would think MS could get a team together to create a great browser.
