Windows Search fails to find any Outlook entries

In Windows 7, hitting the Windows key would bring up a search field, just as it does in Windows 10. Included in the search results would be matching entries from Microsoft Outlook 2010 (contacts, tasks, e-mail, etc. that contain the search string). Now in Windows 10 the search results do not include anything from Outlook. In order to find something in Outlook , I have to search for it from within Outlook.

Looking at the Indexing Options, I see "Microsoft Office Outlook" listed among the included locations. I have deleted and rebuilt the index a couple of times, but still nothing from Outlook ever appears in Windows Search. Wondering if some indexing feature has been disabled, I went to the Control Panel and looked into "Turn Windows features on or off." Unlike in previous versions of the OS, I could find no option for turning on or off Windows Search or Indexing.

Whenever I search for something in "My stuff", the results window displays this message: "These results may be incomplete, search is still indexing your stuff." Yet, when I pull up Indexing Options, it shows "Indexing complete." Is there something I have missed, or is Search seriously broken in Windows 10?

On my Win10 computers pressing the Windows key by itself brings up the Start menu. Can't answer to most things but Cortana is involved in the change of Search, I haven't gotten comfortable with it yet. I usually Right-click the Start button/icon and choose Search or Run from the list depending upon what I want to do but Search may still bring up Cortana.
