    Windows 10 Mail

My Win 10 mail has just stopped receiving mail and when trying to look at account details nothing is shown seems like I have a corrupt file tried restarting does not make any difference, there are plenty of mails on the server, any ideas.

    Suggestions :

Use this tutorial to uninstall Calendar and Mail app.
    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4...dows-10-a.html
    Use Option Two
    Example :
(To remove Calendar and Mail app from current account only)
    Get-AppxPackage *windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage

    2. After uninstall, go to Windows Store and reinstall Mail and Calendar.

OK this is the latest, I did a system restore to an earlier time when I knew it was working ok, well it did not work still had the same problems.
I realised Windows Live Mail was on the apps and had used that in Vista and it was good
So I have got Windows Live Mail and it works but and it seems there is always a but in mail programmes I cannot put messages into folders get the message it cannot do that - really!!! So I am missing something did not want to do too much as at least I have got Email sending and receiving now so that is good. Hopefully somebody knows what is happening.🤓

........... realised Windows Live Mail was on the apps .................

Windows Live Mail cannot be on the apps list unless you have installed it from Windows Essentials.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ca/windows/essentials

The built-in app you found in All apps is called Mail. It is NOTHING close to the same class as Windows Live Mail.
Perhaps you are mistaken or I have misunderstood what you said ?

Yes I installed it from Essentials and it works but with some problems such as I cannot put my mail into folders as I get the message that the Imap server will not allow it, anything I can do about that?

    Oh, you use IMAP.
    I used POP.
I can't help you on IMAP setup.
