How to configure Outlook 2010 to have 1 inbox for multiple email accts

I am having trouble configuring Outlook 2010 on a new Windows 10 Pro clean install so that mail from multiple Gmail and Comcast accounts all go into 1 PST file. I would like to have 1 inbox for all 5 emailaccounts.

Even when I use “Manually configure Server settings…” andspecify an existing PST on D:\Outlook, Outlook creates a new PST file on C:\Users\(My Username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

    Any help out there?

    TIA
    Ken

You can do it this way with Mail App

If you want to link all your mail into one inbox you can do it.

Open Mail either from all App or Taskbar if you have it set up that way

Once open click on Settings found in bottom Right Hand Corner
    Then go to Manage Account
    Then go to
    Change mailbox sync settings
    Once done
    Press Save
Do that with every Account you have
    There like
    Outlook
    Gmail
    Etc

    Then click Link Inboxes
Tick which Inboxes you want to link
Also you can Name the link to anything you want to
    Once done Click Save

Now when you receive Mail from any of your contact etc
It will now come into one Inbox
Have done it and it does work

This saves you having to click on each Mail inbox

If you want to revert back just
Click on the inbox linked untick
Press Save and they are all back showing one by one

    Thx for your response.

Are you giving a solution for Outlook 2010? Your instructions don't seem to follow in Outlook 2010.

I seem to be getting responses with instructions for Windows 10 Mail App.

While I appreciate the effort that responders have gone to for the Mail app, my query specified that I would like to set up Outlook 2010 for a single Inbox.

    TIA

Have looked at outlook mail 2010,2013, 2016
I don't see anyway of doing what you want to do of bringing them all into one box.
There is no link button to be found unless I missed it.
The reason I gave you the above for the mail app is because it is the only one that you can use.
That is unless you use a third party app like incredimail.
Which I have used but I know does give problems with windows 10.

Turns out that I was attempting to consolidate IMAP accounts into 1 PST file, which is quite impossible. Thanks to davidhk for steering me in the right direction.

Once I opted to configure all of my email accounts for POP and for them to all go into OUTLOOK.PST on the D drive, I was quite successful in getting the desired result.

Thanks everyone for your efforts. TEN FORUMS has always helped me with any problem. You're the greatest!

    You are welcome.
Some times we have to eat the humble pie and direct members to "specialized" forum for the best possible solutions.

Nice of you to tell us the solution. Others with the same concern will benefit from it.
