Where is my FAVORITES sidebar I like to pin on the left of browser?

IE allowed me to easily pin my favorites - which I used EVERY TIME I opened the browser - on the left side of the screen. This was incredibly easy and intuitive from the get go! NOW I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THAT IN EDGE!!! Can someone please help? This is incredibly frustrating. ARGH!

Do they even bother to survey end-users anymore, before they go messing around with a perfectly good browser???

As to Edge, click the 3 dots at top right of Edge page > click Settings > click View favorites settings.

Top right, click the Star icon and you can add your favorites.

As you've already figured out, there is no way to make the "pinned" hub stay pinned between sessions. The only consolation is that you can put your most common favorites in the Favorites Bar (which does survive between sessions)

As of yet, Edge is a little lackluster in many areas!
I would suggest, just make a folder full of your favorites and put that on the favorites bar as a pseudo sidebar.

I have not been able to get Edge to display my favorites other than the favorites bar. It will only display the favorites folders(which are shown twice) but will not let me see the contents of any folder. I have not been able to edit any favorites folder either. I don't know if the folders are actually duplicated entirely or if something else is going on. I can add a folder or delete a folder but it's idiotic not to be able to see the folder contents. This is why I would remove Edge from my computer if I could.
