When opening a new tab "popular now" appears

When opening a new tab, below my top sites, I now have a new item "popular now" appears. How do I get rid of that. I do not know where this came from
    Thanks

What browser are you using (Edge, Chrome Internet Explorer?) and what is your home page?

If you go to settings in edge you've got these choices for new tab..

For me I get "Top sites" and then "My News Feed" - is it showing up there?

If so there is a tiny bit of customization you can do there How To Customize The News Feed In Microsoft Edge Browser In Windows 10 but not much really.

Is this the place you are talking about?

No, when you click the + sign on the Microsoft edge browser. Just below what Microsoft says is your top sites, there is now "popular now"

Don't know then, sorry. Perhaps it is a geographical thing but I don't have it.

You could post a picture - someone else might recognize it.
