Cannot open mail app settings

    It may help explain a few things and give you some more options to try especially if you read through the additional posts.

    Hi Phil

    Thanks for persevering with me! I read through your tutorial and I am not doing anything that I shouldn't be. I am logged in the same way to my two computers, so there should not be any differences there. The thing is the only account that is giving me issues is the outlook.com on that one computer. Everything else works fine. I am going to backup the computer and try a repair install and see what happens.

    Hi Phil

    Well as a result of a forced restore of an earlier backup of W10, all problems are now gone. I don't know what was causing those problems and I likely never will. Thanks for staying by me and helping me out. The problem with outlook.com is also gone.

    That's great news! I suggest you immediately create a restore point and even a system image backup so that you can always return to a working system if you ever need to in the future. Glad to have been of help, please mark the thread solved so that others know it is fixed.
