Windows 10 and chrome browser problem opening pages after sleep mode

After I upgraded to latest windows 10 build (1151) ,I seem to have a problem of Chrome opening the first several requested web pages after computer comes out of "sleep" mode. I get the page that says cannot connect . After I hit retry it finds it . Sometimes the web pages don't load properly ie no pictures , just a listing or the picture color is not right. After a reload it works fine. After the first few pages of problems everything works fine again. It's like Windows or Chrome is having some delays accessing the requested pages when starting from a sleep mode. Any ideas? Tks

That is why I dumped Chrome ages ago.
    But lets try and help.
Uninstall it completely from your system.
If you want to still use it, then find the latest version.
    See if that improves it.
If did does not why not try Edge and see if the trouble you are having improves, if not Chrome then some other problem.

Chrome works far better than edge!! Just un-install chrome, make sure their are no left over files, then re-install Chrome. I've been running chrome for last 2 years, with NO problems. Enjoy...

Rebooting the Linksys 4600 Router did the trick. Did not have to reinstall Chrome. I Have been using Chrome for years. Sometimes I have to use IE because some web pages wont work properly with Chrome . I need to play with Edge a bit more to see whether I like it.

You will once you start to use it a bit more.
I have used it since I installed 10 middle of August so I now know what it will do and that it has improved since first coming out.

If Microsoft had not of brought a new Browser out, and I would of have had to use IE11 or install Chrome, I would never ever had upgraded to Windows 10.
1 IE 11 Kept freezing and crashing in windows 8.1 and I even gave feed back to Microsoft and got reply back that there was nothing they could do about it, yet had all the latest drivers and updates installed.
2 Tried Chrome and that was even worse sent feed back on that got told it was wrong version, told them I got it from there site and sent them version number, got reply back that it was not compatible with my new laptop, or any of the systems my family were using

So now everyone knows why I like Edge so much, no freezes, no crashes, no touchpad not working, no every time I went into document it would not open because explorer shut down, Excel, Access Power point would not work properly with IE11.
In fact we all used open office.
That is why Edge to me and my family is a god send, and with over 30 laptops and computers and tablets in all their businesses Edge has not let any of us down once.
Also since Edge and windows 10 we have all dumped open office and now all use Office 365 and Office 2016.
We don't mind having to pay for it because now it does the job for us.

So that is why I hate IE11 and Chrome so much as it is me that had to sort the problems out.

Nice to see you get it sorted by yourself.
Keep Chrome and IE if that's what you want.
Use what you feel comfortable with. What others use is irrelevant and meaningless.

I won't be using Edge browser until Lastpass gets integrated . Its interesting also that when I try to open Netzero webmail via Edge, it wants me to download an app from the store to open https pages? I thought this should already be included with Edge browser.
