Hi there,

I received an e mail from a friend via outlook today (web based outlook) and it had underlined text in (that my friend had not put there) and when hovered over this popped up.

The bit that concerns me most is that this was a confidential e-mail, maybe i shouldn't be using outlook (or perhaps anything Microsoft) for confidential mail, anyone know anything about it ?

I read this on the Boomerang site:
Every action you take with Boomerang happens entirely on your computer. Your messages never leave your computer, and nothing about your email goes anywhere on the internet. Boomerang is safe, secure, and compatible with your network policies, no matter how stringent.

BUT: that's in contrast to what the pop up says ''The add in may also send data to a third party service''
I disabled it anyway, till I can get more information.
