The admin bit was only a part. Did you do any of the rest that I posted?
The link you gave is for Windows 7, but I tried it anyway but to no avail. I did searches for the same thing for Windows 10, and the only things I've been able to find don't have anything to do with how various websites' fonts are displayed. I don't need to change the fonts that are displayed in various programs or in Windows Explorer or things like that. This problem has only to do with Microsoft Edge.

Sorry, thought you meant all of Windows had the problem (The Windows 7 link was just an example, I know you're using Windows 10). If it is just an Edge font problem, you can find font settings here: Click this bit here for link--> Change font style and size for reading view in Microsoft Edge - Windows Help -

The settings only change font size, however. I found a sort of complicated possible explanation (and solution) to incorrect font changes: Click this bit here for link--> http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...6-8b8ac44cc298

FYI...the first link only addresses Reading View.

I did find the answer to the problem yesterday, however. Apparently there's some connection between installing Office 2016 and the font problem in Edge. Others had the same issue after installing Office 2016. The Arial fonts had become corrupted and once I reinstalled the Arial fonts, the problem was resolved.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Glad you got it solved. The second link said exactly the same thing. Very strange, especially since 2016 is new
