    Opening Web pages in IE

How do i get Edge to permanently open a specific web page using Internet Explorer rather than just 30 days after adding it in the Default Browser Dialog Box?
Please don't anwser by trying to convince me to use Edge for this particular web page. It is an internal securty App and there is no replacement.

    Thanks.

Latest version of Windows 10 in use.

Please explain more clearly. That seems to suggest you have a page displayed in Edge in which there is a URL or hyperlink, which, when clicked on, opens that page in IE.

    Is that what you mean?

rather than just 30 days after adding it in the Default Browser Dialog Box?
    Please explain this 30 days.

    Please explain this 30 days.

If it's a fixed address, you could create a dedicated shortcut to open that site in IE.
How would I do that as an alternative and what's to stop Edge from opening it in Edge? I'm fine doing it the way I am, I just don't like Edge messing with it. It also removes the address whenever it applies an update, so I have to re-enable it.

    Thank you.

Wouldn't you be better choosing this?

And thank you for your reply. You seem to be repeating the problem.

Please see my post #4 - have you not read that?

That explains how to extend the 30 days. Thank you.

dlwmacgregor, as of the exact time of my post that I am making, before any additional changes may happen:
I see that you made an update to your post #3, which looks almost exactly to your post #6. It's best not to update old posts, and just make new replies. Makes things much easier, since the latest posts are the most recent, and people don't usually look back at the older posts (who have been helping you).

    Just for future reference

My mistake. I put my response in the wrong post.
Thank you very much for your fix.

Edge does not open any webpages in IE.

    I urge you to study
Enable or Disable Reload in Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge
    and then re-phrase your question.
