    Email

I've always had 2 desktops. And I have Att/Yahoo for my email service. Since I've upgraded this one computer to Windows 10 every time I use this Win 10 email program it gives me all the email from the att/yahoo servers that I have already looked at and deleted from either my cell phone or the other Windows 7 computer that I've used earlier in the day. Hope that makes sense. I've looked at the Win 10 settings and don't see any options to fix this. Any ideas pls... Tks

There are 2 kinds of emails IMAP and POP3. Now IMAP your email provider receives your email on their server and you access it through a client or directly through a browser. No the email remains on that server until you delete it. So if you don't delete it you will be able to view if on multiple devices. POP3 is where you have a pop server that receives incoming emails and a SMTP server which is a outgoing mail server. IMAP usually you give it the link and it manages the in and out going mail. POP3 requires setting up both. POP3 when you connect with a client it downloads emails to your machine. Some providers have setting that you can set to delete emails after downloaded by default. If you don't delete the emails they will download to multiple devices.

I myself have Bright House Roadrunner which I can use either POP3 or IMAP. I use POP3 because I want emails on all devices but I have a quota of 100 MB and I have to go to the server and delete manually or emails will bounce back if I'm over the quota.

POP3 setting are like (Incoming server) pop-server.cfl.rr.com or (outgoing server) smtp-server.cfl.rr.com but I use a web browser to delete old email with the link WEBMAIL.cfl.rr.com.

It sounds like you have POP3 because IMAP once you delete you can't see on other devices. So i would check with your provider if there is a setting to delete email once it's read.
