Outlook remembers password only for one day

I'm using the desktop version of Outlook from the MS Office Home and Business 2019. My email account is an Exchange account. Nowadays Outlook remembers my password only for one day. Interestingly, there's no such issue with the Web version. I have done the following:

-Uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2019.
-Manually deleted Outlook-related folders.
-Deleted my existing profile.
-Contacted IT support at my work.
-Deleted my existing Outlook credentials.

None of them have resolved the issue. Windows 10 and Office are up to date.

Does anyone have an idea about what's going on?

Yes. The IT support told me to uninstall and reinstall, which didn't resolve the issue. I have no issue with IOS Outlook on my phone and eM Client on the same PC. So, it looks like there is an issue with my PC or my copy of Office 2019.

In my case, for a certain program I had to open it once with run as administrator. Thereafter username and password were permanently remembered. No idea whether it helps you but it is an easy try.

It is how your IT has their exchange server set up to always ask for password when signing into the domaon.

Your method has been working for me (fingers crossed!). I believe the issue started after some latest Win 10 & Office updates had been installed on my PC. So something affected the way Outlook remembered credentials.

This can also happen due to the security settings on your account or the device you're using. Some email services and applications have security features that require periodic password re-entry to enhance account security.
