How to configure default Mail Client with Email Choices

Scenario: I'm on a website, it could be on either Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome or any browser for that matter. There's an E-mail address posted. We'll say this E-mail address is custserv@company.net.

It doesn't matter which browser I'm on, but ideally, I'd like to see a popup when I click on custserv@company.net, with options pertaining to which Webmail site I want to go to, to send the E-mail from. Doesn't matter if I'm signed into it or not, I'll be at the very least, directed to sign in, but after that, possibly needing to click back onto custserv@company.net to bring up the New Mail form from within the desired webmail service.

What I want to see in the pop up are various E-mail services. For Example: Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail/Outlook, etc.

Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing this?

Use MS Outlook as an email client, for one example, and configure it with all email accounts in use, even adding one of the many plugins available for this, is one possibility. Thunderbird, though more-or-less deprecated developmentally, is still highly respected and widely used.

If you use Gmail, it already offers a desktop notifier (others do, too), and it is worth looking at those in respect of any email vendor. Personally, I just use the Outlook System Tray / Task Bar icon, very small. A pop-up would annoy me. I don't like being disturbed while I am working, recording, etc. In fact, I use Do Not Disturb mode a lot when busy.

You can use the Mail App in Windows 10 which is a simplified version of Outlook the desktop Mail client, and indeed other possibilities.

I get a selection of 6 Email accounts which does include Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and others.
These Accounts are all set up in the Mail App.

I only use small visual notifications i.e. Notification centre and a badge appears on the Mail App icon.

    In Windows 10 settings:

Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Email > click on Mail and choose whatever client it is.
Further Down that page > Choose default applications by protocol link > scroll down to MAILTO protocol and choose the client.

    Works on any Web Browser

Nice alternative to other email clients. It also integrates very nicely with smart phones. (Android definitely. Not sure about the others.)
