Own email logo not appearing in Mail app?

I have a Gmail and a Hotmail account linked to the Windows Mail app.

When putting your own email address in the address bar of a new email concept (e.g. sending an email to yourself), usually both of my email addresses show up with the corresponding pictures next to them; the Hotmail email shows my Microsoft profile picture while my Gmail address shows some colored logo with my initials.

However, recently both mail addresses show the exact same colored logo which can be confusing when quickly selecting one of them.



Reinstalling the Mail app/rebooting/logging out and in my Microsoft account doesn't fix this. Using Windows 10 Pro 21H2.

Is anyone else noticing this with two accounts in the Mail app?
