Sounds like you messed up Firefox to me ....should have tried a clean install. My FF is Very fast, always has been.
I've tried to completely remove MS Edge many times ....hate it, but MS won't let me remove it. So I have it disabled.
    Good luck using Edge ....LoL
i nuked the whole machine a couple of weeks ago and reinstalled everything, no better.
EDGE is working like a charm, quick as lightning and have been through settings and ticked unticked everything required. also have idisabled on startup.

More people use Edge now rather than declining FireFox.

I would completely remove Edge if I could ...but I do have it disabled.

I also have Google Chrome as my 2nd browser ....

As Edge and Chrome are so similar now, it does not really make much sense to go through loops to disable Edge then add Chrome as 2nd browsers does it?

Its does to me because Edge can run in the background ....even if I'm not using it. Chrome and FF do NOT ....

Plus... ya can never really trust EDGE, because it... "works for Microsoft".

That would mean that anyone that actually trusts Microsoft is in the "brainwashed brigade".

And let's not spam this topic. It's not here for debate. It's here for Firefox tweaks, issues, etc.

No point in discussing ridiculous notions that it is ok to use Windows but not to trust Edge.

Subject closed so people can get back to discussing FF if they must.
