    Jorge,

If you like, you could also "Pin to taskbar" Internet Explorer to have these options available when you right click on the icon on the taskbar. :)

I would have tried the Win 7 method on Win 8, all I know is nothing worked and it took a lot of waiting and Googling till the one I saved to my Archives worked.

It wss all due to EU messing with MS about monopoly nonsense and I am sure it was 1st removed in Win 7 not Vista (could be wrong) but even MS gave you info on how to get it beck on there KB site.

With Win 8 there was no such help from MS.
    You're right,

It was removed in Windows 7, but solved by Seven Forum not Microsot.

My post is a mess with typos, lol

As I said MS gave official help to get it back on Win 7 but no doubt were under more pressure by time Win 8 came out so not such help as it states on that very page.

Amazing what Google can find if you look.

    Hi,
Tried both regs but none of them worked for me!
    Any idea?

Works for me on RTM and both newer insider builds and each upgrade removes it so I merge again so I can see its not simply hanging around from before upgrade.

Do you simply get nothing or get an error?

I get it as soon as I right click and refresh desktop, no log off/on or reboot needed.

I am not sure why it would do so, have you also merged other Reg entries and seen results in Win 10 or do they also appear to do nothing?

    Jorge,

See if using both steps 2 and 3 in the tutorial below may work better for you. :)

First of all, I have to thank you both as you have been very patient with me.
Unfortunately I have tried and it didn't work, again!
I open my registry and have seen that there was, in -HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\, two times the key {871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30301D}.
I merged several times the reg to remove the icon, but one of the keys remain there.
It is missing the shell command to Start InPrivate Browsing!
I don't know what to do and if that key should be there.
    Please see the picture:

    Thank you very much.
