Use step 4 to remove it, and start fresh again. :)
    Hi again Brink,
    Unfortunately it didn't worked!
I get back to the 32 bits Windows 10 notebook and used the step 4 to undo the previous mistake. Than used step 1, pressed F5, rebooted and it didn't work.
Tried step 1 in a 32 bits Windows 7 notebook, pressed F5 and got the icon.
I am wondering if there is something changed in Windows 10 that makes it not to work?

This bothered me for a very long time on Win 8 till I found a solution and it has worked on all updates inc Win 10 since.

All previous version only worked up to and inc Win 7.

If you trust this grab it : http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=...17018138175219

4 REG files, 1 for 32bit IE and other for 64bit IE (Windows uses 32bit by default even in 64bit OS) and 1each to remove them.

Merge the 32bit REG file and refresh Desktop and it will appear and have all your IE menu/tools like before.

Noted the they are similar to the ones of SevenForum, excepted for this:

    1. There is no line to Command: Start InPrivate Navigation;
    2. Missing the last 3 reg lines:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\ClassicStartMe nu]
    "{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30301D}"=-
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel]
    "{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30301D}"=-

I never really noticed as only rarely use for Start Without Add On's if an issue or getting to IE Properties.

    Hello jh30uk and Jorge, :)

The .reg file that jh30uk and I posted are basically the same except:

jh30uk has the line below to apply to all users.

    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30301D}]
I have this below instead to apply to only the current user, and it includes an InPrivate browsing option.

    Code:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\{871C5380-42A0-1069-A2EA-08002B30301D}]

    Jorge,

If you like, you could also "Pin to taskbar" Internet Explorer to have these options available when you right click on the icon on the taskbar. :)

I would have tried the Win 7 method on Win 8, all I know is nothing worked and it took a lot of waiting and Googling till the one I saved to my Archives worked.

It wss all due to EU messing with MS about monopoly nonsense and I am sure it was 1st removed in Win 7 not Vista (could be wrong) but even MS gave you info on how to get it beck on there KB site.

With Win 8 there was no such help from MS.
