Edge - Weather shows fahrenheit instead of celsius on the homepage

Hi!
On Microsoft Edge (Chromium version), there's a homepage when you first open the browser where it shows the weather outside on the right side. Yesterday it changed from celsius to fahrenheit out of the blue. When I click 'celsius' it will automatically change back to fahrenheit next time I open the window. Have anyone else noticed this? I am logged in to my Microsoft account, synchronization is activated, the browser is in my native language, and the positioning data is on so it can gather location info. It's not a major issue, but it's annoying that it changed to a measurement I don't even use.

Same happening here, keeps changing back to Fahrenheit.

Ok thanks for checking, so I'm not alone! This is another Microsoft blunder I guess.

I'd wonder, if having 2 or more languages installed, whether the choice of English version may be at play, there's more than a dozen available when adding a language.

Hmm, I only have one language pack (my language) installed, if that's what you mean?

That's just a generalized speculation based on the time differences on your Profile versus mine. It also may be Edge has an ET-styled "Call Home" feature where something is seeing things differently. I've not yet had to set up a new computer with a different language, automatically picks up location information and asks for confirmation or change during the early part of the install.

Only one here as well. Checked languages.

Mines is in C but in past I remember some issue where I had to log into Bing Homepage or MSN Homepage and change my settings there to try get it to stick elsewhere, not sure if it was the for the Weather's C vs F or UK vs US Eng or something else.


EDIT: if I visit Bing and sign in it is on F and will not stay selected to C after I refresh Tab so this effects my new Tab page.

It must be a bug. I've set up Edge to 'Open a new tab' on start-up and the first new tab shows ℃ correctly, subsequent tabs show ℉.
