Thunderbird ver 68.8.0 NEW problem with Add-Ons display

Downloaded latest update for Thunderbird ver 68.8.0 for Windows 10 build #18363.
After installation, I went to check if my add-ons were all up-to-date.

When I click on Add-Ons under Tools, the Add-On Manager page opens, but nothing shows for all add-ons and extensions that I have installed previously.
My add-on extensions all work as before.
None of the 3 default Plug-Ins are showing also. eg. ShockWave

I can't find anything on the net about solving it.

I have sent an email to Thunderbird support about this glitch, but heard no response yet.

    Your help is really appreciated!!!

Hi, FWIW, Tbird 68.8 add-on display is fine on mine (1903 as per specs). Noted, however, as with FF, fast updating leaves add-ons in the dust as they become incompatible.

You could try downloading and installing an older version, and uninstall any incompatible updates.

Clearly Tbird Safe mode would not help here.

Things seem to be a bit messed up. I had 68.8.0 and got a message at "About Thunderbird" that an update failed. There was a link for downloading, but the download showed 68.8.0 instead of 68.8.1. So I didn't get it, but got an update reboot message when I rechecked "About Thunderbird." Now have 68.8.1.

    I'm running 68.8.1 just fine.

Always use Help -> About if you do not have automatic updates enabled.

I know that, I got the update that way as I do not use auto updates on anything. Some users want to know just like in the New Firefox Thread, The New Edge Thread..etc.
