    Totally unimpressed by edge

It doesn't do much does it?
I can't believe they still haven't included url paste and go in the address bar.
i'd rather have the address bar in the usual place across the top .
The location of the favourites bar is in a terrible position on the right, what on earth is wrong worth horizontal bar like chrome?
how do you sync favourites between devices?
how do you put yr own url icons into the new tab page ? the customize option doesn't let u do this.

nothing about edge has persuaded me to move from google chrome.

update: i've just discovered u can show the favourites bar at the top of the browser but it seems you can't order the folders by dragging
update: you can order the folders by dragging but you have to go back the favourites side bar to do it, dear me.
also you have to go to the website for the icon to appear in the favourites bar and they are very small on screen

plus only two choices for theme : light and dark , thanks for that MS

WOW !!!, another incredible ommisssion you can't select text and do a web search straight from the right click menu.
Do developers at MS actually use the internet?

It's missing a lot of features that even IE 11 had so it's really disappointing only thing that was touted about it is speed benchmarks.
I really miss "Save as.." in right click menu and search engine customization.

Er... MS have packaged a browser in their OS for over 20 years, they have had plenty of time to put a decent browser together.
What is so complicated about 'paste and go' a standard feature on modern browsers?
Also the lack of customisation - only 2 theme options , pathetic!!!

browser isn't the only thing they develop. so give them a chance.
of course, if you don't like you can move on always.

Do you work for MS by any chance? Things improve by people complaining about lack of features not by passive acceptance of what ur given. MS have a separate team of coders working on Edge, its their job to know what makes a good browser and for something to be released with so many basic features missing is inexcusable. Edge is just a slightly altered version of IE, there is nothing special about it and it is certainly not part of a 'whole new era' in web interaction.

Edge is considered to still be under development and will probably receive updates in next month's service pack.

Highlight then right click the text you want to search, select Ask Cortana. It searches from within the same tab - pretty cool actually.

Maybe we could Ask Cortana when Edge will function properly!
Edge simply isn't ready for primetime. It seems ambitious enough but isn't delivering. Back to Chrome & will check Edge every now & then.
