    What are Win10 Backup options?

How many different ways to protect your files in Win-Ten are there?

I did a backup and noticed there also is a system image option. Is this the same thing? also I created a restore point. How is this different from a back up/system image? One is a OS copy only and the other copies OS and files? What about Windows 10 Recovery Disk Image?

Thanks for any help. Have a nice day!

A system image is a snapshot of your system at the time you make the backup. It is everything, the operating system, your files, the lot.

Restore points are a poor option imo, a get out of jail card that might work and fix any issue but they are nowhere near in the same league as a system image. They simply return key points of the system back to how they were at the time the restore point was made.

A recovery disc allows you to access your Windows image file (assuming you use Windows own backup program) and also offers a few simple repair options. You use the recovery disc (or bootable USB drive) when Windows won't load. It gets you in.
