    Pc refused to boot after avast cleanup Hasleo restore failed


    Pc refused to boot after avast cleanup, windows repair failed, Hasleo restore failed, what can I do

    Booted from a usb with Hasleo, chose the backup image, chose the C partition, it ran right to the end then said restore failed

    ... and your backup image contains also only the (C:) and not the other partitions also?
    Did you verify the image?

    Only the C drive no I didn't verify, just trying a slightly older backup

    slightly older is ok. Does Hasleo allow you to verify the image you used for the recovery?
    I kicked Hasleo out after the first tests.
    Did the program write any log-files to your USB?

    Can't verify now, only during the creation and I didn't my know will check

    A Backup Program that doesn't allow you to verify an offline image is worthless! So check the manual or look in the hasleo knowledgebase.

    Hasleo has a "Check Image" function in their "Tools" menu... any image may be checked.

    It said image can't be found even though it did a restore to the end with the error 😪
