UAC popups even when uac is disabled

    nah, i'll have to live with it. There's maybe one or two apps i use (xbox accesoires for my controller, and calc) and don't want to loose access to them. Damn microsoft

    If you like, you could create an elevated shortcut of an app to run the app elevated without getting a UAC prompt or disabling UAC. :)

Took advantage of the W-10 free update and now get popups, particularly, for the cloud. I have an Asus laptop and these happen shortly after I boot. Same machine, was OS W_8.1. Is there a way to block them? Bill
