I uninstalled the Touro from device manager but it did't give the option to uninstall the drivers. how do I do that?
If the option wasn't there, it was probably using generic MS drivers, which wouldn't be delete-able. Keep going..... Make sure you name that new folder the same as before and the Touro still shows up as "E" drive. If the backup aborts again, please take screenshot, if it starts running please give progress.

I installed Pass Mark and did all the tests which were good. Except for this one as I was afraid I wouldn't have enough disk space. Should I go ahead?

Being that we'll only have the program on for a few minutes, it won't create a large file. That's a warning for those who leave it on for hours, or days while running system tests. You'll be fine. And, when the program is closed it doesn't do anything. But, you can uncheck that box before you close it if you like.

Lizzy, simrick.... I may be colliding with what you are doing. Can't have Lizzy uninstalling/reinstalling a device you're both running diags on. I'll just sit back for a bit while you do the tests.........

It's OK TC - she's done with PassMark DiskCheckup I think. She says everything checks out fine for the external drive health. :)

Lizzy, I've managed to confuse myself, which is easy. Where are you on what step of what? Is the drive reinstalled? Have you restarted a backup? I'm getting a little lost where you are right now. Sorry.

70%.it's almost midnight here so I'll let you know when it's finished then sign off. My priority now is to access my last pass vault. I'm out tomorrow and will be back late afternoon. Should I buy a USB hub as it's difficult working with only 2 ports.

Lizzy, that's fine. Please post that screenshot with the completion box before you click OK. Don't just pull the cable out, EJECT the drive first before pulling the cable. We need to do the space cleanup, it's quick and can be done tomorrow. A couple odds and ends, too. USB hub we'll talk about. What you do need is a blank USB thumb drive so we can make the Rescue Media for Macrium. 8GB is enough. TC

We'll fix that LastPass, too! Promise!
