Attachment 87059Hi I'm in the USB3 (blue) in the docking station.
Hi, Lizzy! Thanks for the info! Glad to see it's USB3! Ok, here we go with the backup....Make sure the Touro is attached. Right click the definition file, right click RUN, and click FULL. It will take off. You'll see a green progress bar at the bottom with percent completed. Also, on the bottom right you'll see estimated time, this will decrease as it goes on. Make a note of the estimated time when it starts. The actual overall time will be about twice that, because we are also verifying the backup (always a wise thing to do). At the end of backing up step it will start verifying. When all is done, you'll hear a little beep and a box will display with the completion message and the total time. Before you click OK on that box, take a screenshot of the entire display and post it. You can use the computer during the backup, but I would suggest not doing anything heavy. To let me know all is progressing, please post back every 5 minutes or so with the percent completion. Based on the files you currently have I'm estimating 15-20 minutes total. OK? Everything clear?

Good, it's running! (Wheeeww!) Don't worry about what I'm going to say, not important right now, but your Touro drive may not have the write cache enabled. That can be adjusted later. Just keep on honkin'!

    That picture is perfect!

    Good!

When you're all done with everything, don't just pull the Touro drive out, EJECT it first. The little symbol on your taskbar like this What extra software do I need with Windows 10-2016-06-27_12h59_33.png click it and click the Touro drive.

If it barks at you saying it can't, just wait a few seconds and try again. The system is "flushing" the buffer to it.
