    I have been using Windows Defender in Windows 10 for some time now and found it to be very good and I have no intension of installing any 3rd party Antivirus :)

    Windows Defender as my Real-time Protection and Malwarebytes free edition as my On-demand protection.
    2+ years with that set up and no security issue.

    Each to his own.
    Select whichever you are satisfied with.
    What works for others does not necessarily work for you.
