Which database are you referring to and how do i verify this?

yes i have reset my browsers. I have not experienced any cmd windows flashing since
However, even when i experienced this problem it was also happening randomly and intermittently and not really regularly. I had also read on another forum that this issue was caused by Microsoft Office task scheduler (or something like that) and i had gone ahead and implemented the fix for that before the ADWcleaner fix as well. So i am not completely sure that the ADWcleaner fix was the one that fixed the bug.

    Thanks for your reply!
Well, unscientifically, you watch ADWCleaner when the database loads, if it connects to the internet to update when doing this. I'm guessing they fixed that FP, because it didn't show up for me either this time.

Okay, well, as long as it's gone, I guess you're good. Cheers!

    I have a similar problem

Hello, I've been following this thread hoping to solve the same issue of the Cmd opening and switching my screens view while in full screen.

I before I started following the instructions on this thread I had done a fresh reinstall of Windows. I downloaded a few programs to reach my baseline again. I tried the commands in PowerShell and CMD as administrator. I reset Chrome, Edge and Internet Explore. I tried using the rKill program but nothing was found. Finally After downloading AdwCleaner it did capture something in its log.

I do not have Chrome Sync on. I removed the "Web Browser" problems involving Chrome and have left the "files" MP3tag alone as I believe it is a false positive because of its ability to change the Artwork of icons.

Hi quicklysaw and welcome to Tenforums.

The Chrome items are nothing but search providers which are always found in Chrome and always flagged as needing removal - they won't cause a cmd window to popup.

So, we have a clean install, plus a few baseline programs. Can you tell us what those baseline programs are? Did the issue begin before or after you installed these programs?

It would also help if you posted a screenshot of your results when entering the commands in the powershell/cmd window.

I wonder if the issue goes away if you uninstall MP3tag program?
