    Windows 10 Defender

    Hello,
Have learned that on my system is built-in 'defender', made a search in the searc box and came with this (screenshot) result,
got a notice that it is turned off, however, the buttonts are Gray, cannot move them to on position.
Built in is updated 'MRT' (microsoft's tool) and there is the AVG antivirus on. Is the defender important ? how to enable it - as it is Gray.
    2. Do you know anything about "gatekeeper" - CCleaner fond some entries in the registry, I still do not want to clean anything untill get answers from you.
    Thanks
    Motim

Hi, your screenshot is typical of having installed a 3rd party AV. That turns Windows Defender off. If you have not, there's a problem, but you say, I think, you have AVG installed, so all is well.

gatekeeper? need something a bit more definitive. Where is it? Post a screenshot of the registry entries.. Try searching...
Better still, don't even bother cleaning the registry (much safer!)
