    Trojan:Win32/Fuery.C!cl

MS Defender just detected an attack on my system and removed it.

It is named Trojan:Win32/Fuery.C!cl and according to the MS Community forum this trojan has been attacking frequently.

Follow up with a Malwarebytes scan.

Malwarebytes is different than Emsisof. It would still be good to do a Malwarebytes scan.

    I don't have MBAM.
If I did use it free and remove activation, which is the real time protection Defender or MBAM. I assume the other is a stand alone scanner.

Install the free version, do the scan then uninstall it if you want. MBAM scans for different things than most AV software.
    I'm sure that's why @Jacee recommended it.

    Understood and thank you.

I did install MBAM trial and when it expires I will use it for stand alone.
MBAM, like Defender now, has found no problems. I ran a 40 Minute scan.
Are there any adjustments I should change? For example should I now deactivate so Defender is the real time and MBAM the stand alone?

You probably have the MBAM Premium Trial installed. If you want it to be just a stand alone scanner you launch when you want then turn off

    - Launch Malwarebytes in the Background when Windows starts up
    - Always register Malwarebytes in Windows Security Center

    No Defender impact then.

Would you advise deactivation of MBAM making it stand alone and Defender real time or not?

Yes, I think that would work best for you.

I have Premium and both of those settings are enabled. I use Defender and MBAM, both fully active and have not had any problems.
