How do I turn off just the DEFENDER NOTIFICATIONS

    Hello All:

I see how to turn off the REAL TIME PROTECTION but that is not what I want to do, I want to stop DEFENDER from throwing up the constant flow of Windows Defender Found Threats & is REMOVING THEM. I don't think I'm going to sites that would give me that much malware. I do have Malwarebytes installed along with Xionix RegServ, and Enigma Soft Spy Hunter (which I believe causes Defender to FREAK OUT with all the messages (I pay for Spy Hunter and don't want to remove it just because Defender seems to find it offensive). I want to leave REAL TIME PROTECTION INTACT but not have DEFENDER notify me every time it finds something/anything, I just want it to automatically REMOVE said item or cope with it via quarantine. HELP!

Hi there. I've searched everywhere within 10's settings and the net, but cannot find a way to turn off Defender notifications. The closest I've found is to enable Quiet hours on the Action Center's task bar, but then all notifications are turned off.

Seems to me that your only choice is to either turn off Defender or uninstall Enigma Soft Spy Hunter if you think that's what is causing the Defender notifications. I wouldn't know, for I use Defender alone.

You may want to wait to see if others may have a solution. Good luck.
