None, since Vista you do not really need AV on Windows, mostly thanks to full UAC.

I voted for Avast, but since it's incompatible, I'll be going with the majority here. WD and Malwarebytes.

Defender + MBAM. May try something later, but that will be my initial plan. Also use script/ad blockers on browers were possible. That seems to help against web-based intrusions.

I'm using Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (free) right now, but will give (free) Bitdefender a try.

See where WD has greater usage by members.
    What about MSE?
What does WD have over MSE as I have had no issues with MSE?

    WD + MBAM.

Becoming a BSOD analyst has opened my eyes to just how many problems any AV suite can cause. I still use F-Secure on my main W7 installation and wouldn't be a adverse to using that on W10, but with Defender built-in and so far proving to be 100% BSOD free (to my knowledge) I may as well use it.

Windows Defender and MBAM Pro for me as well. I found this to be a winning combination on Windows 7, and will be sticking with it for now. I would like to swich out Defender for Norton at some point, but I'm going to wait for the final version of 10 to come out before I do that.
