    System Alert

    Hi,

Today I started getting this system alert notification popping up
in the bottom right corner of my PC. I went to X it out and I
accidentally opened it and I got this piercing sound with this
alert flashing. I had to ctrl/alt/del to get off the page.

I have run awcleaner and malwarebytes and both scans were clean.

I'm not sure where to look now to get rid of this annoying popup.

    WINVER 21H2 19044-1826

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Mike

EDIT: Just got another popup that is different.

Check for push notifications and clear/ delete block if it turns out to be the culprit.

    @skeetz

I would run the free "One time scan" (online), from ESET...

Also just check for push notifications as your system will scan clean if that's the cause.

    Ghot,

The screenshot is right above your post, the white system is infected and the other is
the red one that says system alert.

Good idea on the ESET scan, I always forget about that one!

    Callender,

Thanks for that tip. I did check and there were 2 for rapidgator.net and I
set everything to block but they are still coming through.

    Thank you Ghot and Callender,

I'm running ESET now. I did go back over to my site settings and found a push
notification for rapidgator.net and deleted. Hopefully, that was the culprit.

Much appreciation to both of you for steering me in the right direction.
With that said I feel confident enough to mark this as solved.

    Regards,
    Mike
