    Antivirus

When I installed Windows 10 all my programs installed in Windows 7 were automatically installed in Windows 10.

My understanding is that Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) is NO longer needed because "Defender" now acts as the antivirus. Will Defender and MSE conflict if I leave MSE installed?

    Should I uninstall MSE
    ???

Yes, uninstall MSE and use native Defender. Defender should have been disabled if it detected MSE installed, but it would be best to uninstall it and use Defender anyway. Couple it with on-demand scans with MalwareBytes.

Make sure you uncheck the 'Enable Free Trial' box when installing.
