How much effort do you expect people to go to in order to find out what you are talking about?

I suggest you state the name[s] of the malware concerned and which AV utility found them & assigned those names.

I believe that was from stackdocklet.zip . I wanted to use the stacks feature for rocket dock. When installing stacks docklet on 15th april , the malware santivirusic also got installed.

I detected it when it appeared in start menu.
    I have uninstalled it successfully.

I don't understand why @zbook wants to talk on this topic when all the leftovers were removed with revo uninstaller and malwarebytes.

    ram93,

The title was suggested for you.
Please include the scans and results so that other helpers can comment.
Sometimes there can be residual problems after uninstalling malware.
This was a variant of the trojan reported by ESET:
[KB7049] Clean a GandCrab infection using the ESET GandCrab decryptor

    oh!!

Please find attached herewith the malware scans and v2 logs.

Apologies @Try3 !!. The problem with the hanging of the laptop is so much that it has affected the day to day office work. Especially when working from home and lack of IT support from my office has contributed to too much downtime and when i complain to my boss , he doesn't seem to care!!!!.
