is eset endpoint antivirus decent?

i bought my Dell Latitude E7440 with eset endpoint antivirus installed. i bought the laptop from an IT technician who just upgraded the company he works for to new laptops. it has version 1903 of windows 10 pro, office 2019, and eset endpoint antivirus installed, the specs of it are 2.0 i5, 8gb of ram, and a 256gb ssd drive. the laptop is lighting fast, and so far seems stable with windows 10 pro 1903, i am also debating if i will let it do the 1909 update or not, i kinda do not want to make it a brick.

I would go to 1909. I can’t say anything about Eset endpoint. The built in defender is one of the best anti-virus out their for win 10.

eset Endpoint security is intended mainly for business users. AVTest.org's December tests give it a score of 5 for protection (out of a maximum 6), one of the lower scores in their business AV tests.

Microsoft's built-in Defender for Windows 10 scores the maximum 6 for protection in both the business and the home user AV tests.
